Grant
Gustin’s performance on the CW’s The Flash has been met with acclaim from fans
and critics all over the world. People initially commented on his ‘baby face’
and his ‘too skinny’ figure to play a superhero ( of 75 years of history)
.However,his ‘acting chops’ proved them wrong.
2. Confident screenplay
The reason why we keep tuning to this mind-blowing show is
its confident and well-written screenplay with its fair share of easter eggs !!
3. The Geek-Squads
Detective
Joe West (Jesse L.Martin), Barry’s foster dad, is the muscle and the voice of
reason. His daughter, Iris West (Candice Patton), is one badass journalist in
making. Detective Eddie Thawne(Rick Cosnett) is Joe West’s partner at CCPD .
Cisco Ramon(Carlos Vardes) ‘makes the toys’ and he and only he can come
up with badass nickname for their villains.
Roy G. Bivolo: "You think this will stop me? I will
make you tear each other to pieces! You will all die screaming with rage!"
Cisco: "Blah, blah, blah, 'no prison can hold me.'
Heard it all before, pal. Adios, Prism."
Caitlin: "I liked 'Rainbow Raider.'"
Cisco: "OK, you don't get to pick the names."
Dr.Caitlin Snow(Danielle Panabaker) is the
Flash’s ‘personal physician’ and the voice of reason.Dr.Harrison Wells (Tom
Cavanagh) is kinda Barry’s mentor and helps Cisco and Caitlin at their lab.
4. Absolutely amazing special effects
Despite CW’s low budget , the special effects team have done
a fab job with the Flash , Grood ( who’s a Telepathic Gorilla , cool right ? )
, King Shark ( A half –shark and half-man .Yes ! You read it right !! ) or any
‘meta-human’.
5. Based on the comics

The writers have done a great
job in keeping the television show based on the comic , by doing necessary
modifications.

You will absolutely
feel the chills while watching some amazing scenes when Grant runs through the
speed force in his iconic suit .
Each and every time with Blake Neely’s incredible score
bellowing in the background !!!!!
7. Team Flash has its fair share of humour too !!
Unlike “The Arrow” , Team Flash knows how to have fun .They
play games ,party hard too and do karaoke too ……
8. Nostalgia
John
Wesley Shipps plays Barry’s dad on the show.And guess what ??
He
was The Flash himself in the 90s television series.
Like
Father,Like Son !!
Mark
Hamill repeats history by playing the iconic villain,’The Trickster’ in both
the shows.So does Amanda Pays playing Christina ‘Tina’ McGee , again ! Lucky
much ?
What’s
even better is casting ‘The Prision Break’ stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic
Purcell as Captain Cold and Heat Wave. Badass , right ??
9. Romance
Barry
has been in love with Iris West ( who happens to be his childhood crush ,
before he became her foster brother) “even before he knew what the word love
meant”.Cute huh ?
And
even the fastest man alive was “too slow” to tell her that !!
10. And we can totally relate ourselves with them minus their super-powers
